Hi to the 600W class at ELI!
As you can see this morning, I will be your new classmate for the remaining 8 weeks. My name is Thiên Phong MOM, I have a vietnamese background but I'm from Paris, France. I study Finance in my hometown and I'll be graduate next year with a master degree. I hope this stay in Vancouver will give me the chance to to improve my english, to reach a new level. I would like to work abroad someday.
About my hobbies, I like cinema a lot. I appreciate both classic and recent films, coming from America or Asia. I also like watching soccer, I support the FC Barcelona team, just the best team in the world for those who know ;-)
I came the last wednesday, I haven't have the opportunity to visit a lot of things in Vancouver, (just downtown in fact). Maybe could you advise me some good places to see? Anyway, I'm still open if you have some questions.
It was nice to meet you.
Hi Thien Phong,
ReplyDeleteWelcome! I'll leave some of the suggestions for others, but I do need to request that you convert your blog's language to English. Thanks & see you tomorrow!
Nice to have you in our class :)!!! Your name is pretty difficult..... Did you say that it is OK we call you Phong?
ReplyDeleteI am impressed that you are having a masters degree soon, good for you!
Barcelona is the one that won few weeks ago, right? I was actually intersted in M.U since Ji Sung Park is in there, who is from Korea like me :).
Some of my friends just call me Thien if you prefer, but don't worry about that.
ReplyDeleteYes, Barcelona won the champion's league few weeks ago, which is the best soccer competition in Europe. I know there is Park in M.U, but you should definitively see the game produced by the Barcelona team, it's amazing. Did you know there is another Park as well in Monaco, Park Chu-Young? And do you know Kagawa from Dortmund? He is japanese and very good. :)
